This is a sentence from a diploma of the university of Puerto Rico. I can't figure out, what aedium apponi means.

I've found the mistake but it's late now.

I'm doing some research trying to find the meanings of these two words, apponi also appears as poni in some texts.

SIGILLUMQUE AEDIUM APPONI CURAVIMUS = and we have seen to it that the seal of our university and the seal of our college (lit., 'halls') be affixed to this diploma, etc.

Dilpomas are habitually pleonastic. You could trnslate 'aedium' by any number of synonymes, but I think that 'university' should be kept for 'universitatis'.
