as "us Spanish speakers know" linillas is obviously a diminuitive of lineas. If "we" lived in Mexico and did not know more Spanish, "we" would simply shut up!

Translating scientific terms has little to do with imagination. Accuracy and precision is required.

KM has no imagination. Ore "linillas" are nothing but ore veins. Disorderly can be called disorganized. "We" does not enter here, your Majesty~~~~

Are you sure about "linillas"? I can't find the word anywhere. Limonita is limonite, not limonites. We don't speak of "disorderly" veins in English. Wild is more like it.
