Italian term or phrase: indici
Hello. Can't find the term "indici" anywhere. I think it means "numerals" but there may be a technical term which I don't know. Here's the complete expression:

Indici in acciaio applicati

Thanks.

indices
Explanation:
Hi Daniel, I've done a lot of watchmaking translations and the technical term is 'indices' - these refer to the points on the watch and not to the hands.

index marks

Explanation:
This term might well fit your application.

Over the years that I set the distributor timing on cars (thankfully long past), the engraved lines on the crankshaft pulley were simply called "index marks". Usually the Top Dead Center line was marked 0 and other lines were marked with numbers indicating degrees of rotation.

The term does not entail that each mark is numbered; some may be, some may not be.

A google search for the phrase turns up many uses in different applications; a couple follow.
