推測ですが、miyazaki-sanがおっしゃるように、狭いところから広いところまで設置場所の広さに関係なく取り付けられる分配器/配電器のことだと思います。ただ、この場合、回廊や配線溝ではなく、地下溝のことではないでしょうか。
