Le brainstorming a été très intéressant! J'ai contacté le client (agence ici qui devait contacter le client)et la réponse que je reçois c'est que c'est un "snow equipment room". Etrange n'est-ce pas! Merci encore pour vos différentes contributions. Il en ressort que Jessica y était proche!

I think the entry "mud room" above might fit' it was the first thing that occured to me. I am far from sure, though, which is why I did not post an "agree". It would be interesting to know if you get clarification from your client.

Following on to joehlindsay's answer and comment - perhaps "storm porch" or "storm entry"? Neither is very common today, but were much used formerly.

I think this may just be the description of a room. In Quebec, the 'habit de neige', or snowsuit is very common, as are snow blowers. Could this just be shorthand for a room where the 'habits de neige' and 'snowblowers' are stored? Since it is next to the ski room, that would make sense.

Pour rassurer mimi, je n'ai jamais entendu parler d'un "habit déneigeuse" et aucune occurence Google ...
Mais "abri" pour la déneigeuse serait une possibilité.
Texte mal rédigé ? Confusion entre les abris de jardin et le local où la déneigeuse serait mise à l'abri de la neige ? Une déneigeuse enneigée ne sert plus à grand chose.
Un local pour les skis et un local pour la déneigeuse ...

No French speaker would call the place where a snowblower is kept an habitation. Not until such time as it has been proven that such a machine has a life and soul of its own. We're not talking Bob the Builder here!

I think "habit." short for "habitation" makes the most sense, although we would not normally use that form of room in English.
déneigeuse = snowblower or snowthrower, at least where I live.
