The term appears in the section of the handbook dealing with salaams. It says as follows:
Salaams.
(USED IN TILED MEETINGS ONLY.)
A Noble addressing the Potentate while he is presiding in the East should always give the Salaam. The potentate gives the sign of the Order in return and does not salaam.
That's all the context I have. What kind of meeting is a "tiled meeting"? I found the term mentioned in some masonic webpages, but in none of them the explanation of what that is.

Las reuniones se denominan "tenidas" y hay de diversos tipos: de adopción (para iniciar a un miembro nuevo), familiar (en ocasión de la muerte de un miembro, del matrimonio o de otro acontecimiento de esta naturaleza), de obligación (ritual), tenida blanca abierta (que incluye a profanos), tenida blanca (con un invitado profano), colectiva (para varias logias).

¡PERDÓN! Preocupada en las explicaciones, olvidé añadir que, en este caso es: "tenida CERRADA". Generalmente en la invitación o anuncio se especifica si, por ejemplo, las mujeres no están incluidas o los no crípticos, etc.

Not sure of this but in freemasonry it means a closed meeting of initiates only, I can only assume here that it means a meeting restricted to members of this Order.
