English term
he told her come over and cursed her hair
English
Art/Literary
This is from a poor Hebrew-English translation:
after words in the movie theatre –the late movie ,now you cant here them he is whispering a secret to her ear
he told her come over and cursed her hair she blushed and gave him a kiss
he told her come over and cursed her hair - I assume this means "He told her to come closer and caressed her hair"??
Thanks!

"He told her to come closer and caressed her hair"
Unless he was a hair dresser and she was having a 'bad hair day'

he told her to come closer and kissed her hair
It could be that also, cursed might sound like kissed to a non native speaker who is trying to write English! Maybe you should try the Hebrew>English pair to have some input on that... Although I know there are some experts that participate in English>English.

I know you have chosen an aswer, but
I see it differently...she let her hair down, (previously a very private act)...he made a damning comment which made her blush...
It reminds me of a scene with Amy Irving in Barbara Streisand's, Yentil.
