Pursuant to the above mentioned Ordinance of the Cabinet, the Ministry drafted a Law "On Amending Certain Legal Acts of Ukraine as regards Establishing the National Standardisation Body". The Law was approved by majority of votes in Parliament.
I put a Law here, but I'm not sure as the name of the law follows directly after it.

Selected
a law
since the name of the law follows

it's only with a capital "L" when it's the name

I doubt that the name is as long as you say, it seems to me it's just a description of what the law is. Thus:
...drafted a law amending certain legal acts of Ukraine as regards the establishment of a "national standardisation Body". The National Standardisation Body Law was passed...

or rather, on second thoughts it should be
drafted an amendment to the National Standardisation Body Act/Law. This amendment was passed...

laws are taken seriously everywhere but a long name like that is just not English, It would be more like:
the National Standardisation Body Act Amendment
or
the Amendment to the National Standardisation Body Act

and this seems to be an act rather than a law

Glad to have helped. Good luck with finding peaceful settlement in your country; there will probably be very many amendments on the way...

Note from asker:
Well, that's exactly the case: names of laws can be really long in this country, much longer than the cited (and actually abriged) version. Futhermore, in the Parliament's Official Journal, where all new laws are published, it will be named (in the English version) exactly as the Law of Ukraine "On Amending Certain Legal Acts..." Official documents are taken seriously in Ukraine, no monkey business |
