Spanish term

estufa de aire forzado

Spanish to English Science Science (general) Drying of plants that are being tested
Hi guys,

Help needed once again.

The phrase is:

Las muestras de plantas se han ido secando en "estufa de aire forzado" a 70ºC

The plant samples have been dried in a forced air stove/oven at 70º C.

They are samples of plants that have been washed and dried for certain types of analyses..

Really appreciate help. Please inform me if more context is needed.

Thanks

I wouldn't call it a "stove" myself, but our US colleagues might not agree.

agree Charles Davis : Lots of references to these and they must be the same thing

agree Neil Ashby : Personally I've never seen "stove" used in this context for lab. equipment, in papers or in manufacturer's website etc.... US or UK

agree John Speese : Agree, forced air oven (not stove). Have used them! There are also forced air incubators.
