микросимптомы

Russian to English Medical Medical (general) nutrition
Specifically, "microsymptoms" of vitamin deficiency (see sample sentence below). "Microsymptoms" is not a satisfactory translation in my opinion, as this word really isn't used in English. I see it on the Web only in documents that were translated into English. So I am looking for a word or phrase that is its equivalent. Thanks in advance!

as an option in place of 'microscopic symtoms' (in fact, the listed symptoms I wouldn't characterize as microscopic)
