Does anyone know of a proper English term for this? Here's the complete sentence:

"Die Vollmacht umfasst sämtliche nach Ansicht des Bevollmächtigten notwendigen Handlungen und Erklärungen gegenüber Privatpersonen, juristischen Personen, Behörden und Gerichten, insbesondere auch bezüglich der Feststellung des Nachlasses, der Verfügung über Nachlassgegenstände in jeder Hinsicht, also auch bezüglich der Verfügung über Nachlassgrundstücke und der Durchführung der Nachlassauseinandersetzung."

agree  YorickJenkins: I would include and adminsitration on the grounds that under German law much is settled by law and a larger proportion of such work is administrative than in the USA and UK

Explanation:
I appreciate Sebastian W. got to the first part in his explanation. But estate settlement to my mind is too close to a settled estate, namely an 'Erbvertrag' - something, coincidentally, I couldn't convince a London Uni. Prof. (non-law) relative of.
