Adrian MM. (X) Jan 25, 2016:
@ Robert and 'pavlosh' I'm unsure it's on all 'fours' with 'recevabilité' in FR, namely (ECJ-favourite =) acceptability or entertainability of a claim, rather than inappropriateness as in my KudoZ weblink, so amenability or susceptibility to striking-out. Tom West III's ES/AmE law dictionary, in the first entry, gravitates towards lack of merit(s) - which is also my hunch, namely 'unmeritorousness'. But I am not going to post any answer unless & until the asker reveals more info about who or what it is. I doubt we should be running around like headless chickens for an invisible punter.

@Adrian You raise an interesting point about the use of this word being associated with evidence. In the text cited here, as I understand it the party is arguing the court cannot admit the complaint, i.e., it should not proceed (proceder) or it should be dismissed, along with the claims, based on a point of law. Are you saying that calling the complaint inadmissible, as a term of art, should not be used in this sense, and if so, what term would you prefer?

inadmissibility

There's something missing in that sentence, but I'm quite sure this means inadmissibility.

neutral Adrian MM. (X) : inadmissibility of the 'prestaciones'? http://www.proz.com/?sp=asearch&term=improcedencia&from=esl&... // OK. But still IMO refers to evidence in Anglo-Am law.

Yes, prestaciones here refers to remedies or claims.
agree Jennifer Levey : Yes - and in some other LatAm jurisdictions (eg Chile) it would refer to "inadmisibildad", meaning that a prerequisite for admission is missing (in this case, a supporting doc. is missing).
