Но вот еще контекст: The current gas injection scheme at Karachaganak is not designed to provide pressure support uniformly across the entire Object 2 and Object 3 hydrocarbon reservoirs. The current pattern of injection wells are located in a fairly narrow band in the central part of the reservoir, where the post-Tula Carboniferous section of Object 3 is very thin or absent.
A limited expansion of the gas injection is proposed to include two new additional wells (180 and 113). This has the following benefits as it will:
● expand the gas injection into an area which is currently not supported by existing gas injection wells;


● test gas injection in areas where clinoforms are known to be present from pressure data, seismic and depositional models. Clinoforms reduce pressure communication with central area. These clinoform bound compartments are situated close to the existing gas injection area but are not receiving any benefit of the pressure support from the current gas injection;
● test the impact of injecting in areas of thinner cyclic platform and the response of injection into the underlying microbial carbonate facies. Microbial boundstones have lower matrix porosity and permeability, but they t
