"En cuanto a las fuentes de la prueba, para deducir su significado debemos tener en cuenta tres conceptos: el concepto de medio de prueba (que son aquellas formas autorizadas por la ley para poder probar los hechos, como el testimonio, la confesión judicial, la inspección judicial, etcétera), el concepto de objeto de la prueba (que es el hecho, cosa o circunstancia que se trata de probar) y el motivo o argumento de prueba (que es la inferencia lógica que usará el juez para determinar cual es la prueba válida y cual no)."
