Hola colegas. Estoy traduciendo una capacitación en formato PDF sobre una empresa minera y la verdad que no sé como traducir esta frase:

Este es el contexto:

If you know who is the Responsible person:
Reports can be assigned to the correct person by typing the name in the report’s “Investigator” field
Notice:
The field cannot be left “blank” once there has been a name
2.)
You don’t know who is the right Responsible person:
Follow circa 1 month if the event will be investigated. If not, contact the report locations HSE person (or your own locations HSE person if you don’t know who to contact) and inform about the report made in their location
