Happy Birthday!

Yes this is a Russian phrase and judging from the way it sounds a preposition is missing. It should be "S Dnyom Razhdeniya". Without the preposition it sounds a bit odd. So here I disagree with the previous answer. If it was "date of birth" then in Russian it would be like Data Rozhdeniya. And Den Rozhdenia is translated as "birthday". Hope it is not too much and confusing information. :o))

date of birth

The given form is not in nominative, i.e. it is not a subject of a verb. Without the full sentence it was used in it is impossible to say which preposition should be put in front of the phrase (e.g. on date of birth)
