@ Asker Thierry, it's great to give us a useful chunk of the dialogue like this so we can understand properly what is going on; however, could I just make a plea for you to remove the spurious line breaks, which make it much harder to follow the dialogue and who is saying what.

Le Collins EN>FR a aussi une entrée "syndicated" (adjectif) = (article) d'agence qui correspond à la définition donnée dans le dico de langue anglaise. Mais du coup, c'est moins parlant. L'idée, en tout cas, c'est que l'info sera reprise par une multitude de journaux.

Du coup, je le formulerais ainsi:
"Si on sort cette histoire (en premier), on sera repris dans les journaux du monde entier"

agree Tony M : Yes... note it's not the newspaper that will get syndicated, but the story itself; the idea is it will get bought and published by all the papers involved in the nationwide syndicate.
