Which the difference between 「電力」 and 「電力量」？ I'm translating news about a hydroelectric central of the economic section and I don't know which term to use. It's talking about how much electricity (QWH) was generated during X period. I read that the first one is related to "W" and the second one to "Wh". But I'm also having problems with understanding these units, so it doesn't enlighten me too much.

電力量
電力 (Watts) is a rate of flow of electric power, while 電力量 (Watt-hours) is a quantity of power. If you have a generator producing electricity at a rate of 1 kW (電力) running for 8 hours, then you get 1 kW x 8 hours = 8 kWh of 電力量
