everyone gets a turn
to turn in a card with different ideas. Pretty much, you go around the table asking every team member to contribute their idea cards.

These cards seem to be flash cards that the participants fill in with their concept ideas - a brainstorming exercise.

round: (from Merriam-Webster) a unit of card play constituted by each player's having had a turn (as in playing a card, receiving a card in the deal, dealing, or betting)
a unit or division of play in a sports contest or game which occupies a stated period of time, covers a prescribed distance, includes a specified number of moves or plays, or gives each player one turn
A "round" of cards is a cycle of playing cards, after everyone has had a turn.
However "round" can be used to describe a "cycle" of almost anything, such as a few card games, etc.

to be dealt cards
In this context it is not a game of cards, but some form of training or learning. It is saying, "ask to be dealt(given) some cards", at random.
