Ornithology / falconry
Regarding falconry, this is for the quarry setup whereby it is in a position to be caught, usually referencing birds to be caught such as ducks or crows. How would anyone translate the above? Thanks. There must be a direct equivalent but I cannot find it. Would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Seitengleitflug
There are several references if you search in aviation. This term should also apply to flight patterns of birds of prey.
In your example: Seitengleitflug mit Rückenwind
You can also look under "Schiebeflug" or "Slippen" and you will get a bunch of information about how to fly it too!
