This is quite boilerplate terminology in the Mexican legal field. I am a lawyer and this, of course, can be rendered in several manners. You could also say "En virtud de lo anterior, y tomando en consideración la buena y sustancial contraprestación que es reconocida y aceptada como suficiente en el presente acto, las partes en el presente [contrato/documento] acuerdan las siguientes: (if Cláusulas, or los siguientes: if Artículos)...
