"métier" is never easy! It could simply be the "automotive industry" or, as I often translate it: "specialist trade/profession". In this case they are refering to "diesel engines", so you could put: "diesel engine system of reference deadlines" but I would personally leave it out. There's no real need, especially as it is obviously clear in the CV what "quality, costs & deadlines" they are talking about.
