French term

fiche de performance

French to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Paperwork
Explaining the procedure to customers of a removals company. This is the procedure when the van has been loaded.

«Finalement, notre équipe vous demandera de remplir une fiche de performance. Le chef d'équipe vous demandera également de signer la liste de colisage.»

Discussion

Martin Cassell (asker) Jul 13, 2007:
A French informant, though she didn't know the term, felt it was likely to request comments on how well the packing/loading work was carried out. Also, on reflection I thought the feedback/evaluation/appraisal suggestions had the merit of not being over-specific.
Steve Melling Jul 7, 2007:
Martin: that leaves it even more uncertain!

Could be both "quality" or "completion".
Martin Cassell (asker) Jul 7, 2007:
In fact the job may be +/- finished for the removal team at this end: more often than not it's a different team, or if international a different company entirely, which delivers and unpacks.
Steve Melling Jul 6, 2007:
Thanks Martin. But the job is not finished is it. They still have to deliver the load at the other end (don't they?).

I would be tempted to go for the idea of a check-list.
Martin Cassell (asker) Jul 6, 2007:
That's pretty much the context I have.
Martin Cassell (asker) Jul 6, 2007:
Very good question. It's a form which you will be asked to signed after the van is loaded and you have checked the house.
Steve Melling Jul 6, 2007:
Think a bit more context might help. Is it "performance in the sense of "execution"? in other words, carrying something out without a notion of how well it has been performed.
mckinnc Jul 6, 2007:
Do you mean this is a form you fill in and sign to say that the van has been properly loaded?

Thanks cristina
neutral mckinnc : ot so sure. From what the asker says, this sounds as if it's half-way through the job, i.e. after loading

evaluation slip/report

I would call it that

Peer comment(s):

neutral mckinnc : If anything, I prefer Alain's suggestion. However, from what the asker says this is not the sense, i.e. not filled in or signed at the end of the job

appraisal is used for property evaluation to my knowledge, I thought this was some kind evaluation of the services rendered by the movers, might be wrong though

job completion report

ie, referring only to the task of emptying the house. (Thanks for clarifying the context, Martin.)
My problem with "evaluation report" or "appraisal slip" is that you don't actually know how well the job has been done until you get to the other end and unpack the boxes (as I know from experience!). Normally satisfaction surveys would be done once the entire job is completed.

J'ai plusieurs solutions, mais pas beaucoup de contexte. Voici les propositions:
- Performance Worksheet
- Performance Record Form
- Transaction record
- Performance Evaluation Worksheet
- Worksheet Delivery Report

evaluation form

A company often requires an evaluation form is to be filled in by the customers to evaluate the quality of services they have received. I teach part-time in FE and students always have to fill in one of these at the end of a course. I don't think it refers to the contents of the truck as this is covered by the term 'liste de colisage'.

Loading approval slip/loading slip

On the basis of what you're saying. I dare say if we had such a term we would not make it too much of a mouthful. Maybe something simple like the second option.

In that case, it occurs to me you might say completion notice

neutral Anca Nitu : a loading slip is a list of the goods that are loaded ( or not?)
