Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Apr 6, 2002:
Planungsrechnung perhaps it would help if I give the previous sentence: "Grundlage der Berechnung des Ertragswertes des betriebsnotwendigen Vermgens wird die Unternehmensplanung fr die Geschftsjahre 2002 . . 2005 sein."
So the auditors are going to have a close look at what I've called "the accounting for planning and control" (Planungsrechnung) and try to assess whether this are (a) plausible (d.h. in sich schluessig) and (b) well, whether it relates to reality to some significant extent or is just pie-in-the-sky wishful thinking . . .

Likelihood

Isn't the idea here that they want to assess how likely it is that the predictions will hold true given previous results?

objectivity

I don´t like "justification in reality" much, "basis in reality" maybe, but why not "objectivity"?

After further consideration, and reading the whole sentence carefully(even), I think I would translate as \"Audit of plausibility and appropriateness\".

The combination of the two into \"feasibility\" is nice, but I think using it for planning can be confusing. Perhaps depending on how you translate \"Planungsrechnung\".

feasibility

Why not combine "Plausibilität" and "Realitätsgerechtigkeit" into one idea: feasibility.
