I understand the concept and have tried unsuccessfully to find an English equivalent in my online research of the natural gas industry. Perhaps there is an expert lurking in the proz virtual hallways???

Hi JR, I did some more digging on the RWE websites in their 2004 World Energy Reports in German and English. There, they use "the principal of indexation" (page 38) for the German "Anlegbarkeitsprinzip" (page 34). While I still stand by the answer I entered, in light of the fact that you are still looking, I am offering this to you as an alternative. As to your question about KudoZ, I believe that you can give the points to the answer you found most helpful.

Thanks, JR!
I think this gets very close. I can't help thinking there is an English phrase out there that gets it exactly. I think I'll use competition-oriented as an adjective and leave the other in German as requested by the client. |
Can I still give you kudoz??? |
