Glossary entry (derived from question below)
German term or phrase:
Besserungskapital
English translation:
recapitalization
German term
Besserungskapital
See http://www.denk-ferdin.at/ABCderBetriebsausgaben.htm
for a definition of the German term.
I believe "additional capital", as found when googled, isn't enough to express the term's meaning.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you!

Proposed translations
recapitalization
equity boost
From what I'm reading, this isn't really a subsidy, nor is it clear whether its' some kind of mezzanine financing. You might just call it an "equity boost".
Example:
Venture capital firms target RemitDATA with $5 million equity boost
