German term

Dreh-Druckzylinderschloss

German to English Tech/Engineering Furniture / Household Appliances Cupboards, cabinets
I need the correct translation for this term.
It is a cylinder lock used in cabinets or cupboards which is turned first and then pushed. Up to now the company used push and turn cylinder lock, but I'm not sure this is correct. Would it be better to call it a turn and push cylinder lock - and would that be understood by native speakers? I'd appreciate any and all help!
Proposed translations (English)
2 pressure (rotation) cylinder lock

I just want to make sure that push and turn cylinder lock is a common expression for Dreh-Druckzylinderschloss.

pressure (rotation) cylinder lock

I don't know what you have against "push and turn" but this is an alternative to express the fact that pressure needs to be applied whereby, imo the "rotation" or turn is superfluous.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Cilian O'Tuama : push and turn is not the same as turn and push, and w/o the rotation it'd probably just be a Druckschnapper
