Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Apr 19, 2004:
It's quoted in a info folder of a management consulting agency (without mentioning the author (!). I did find the author, but not the English equivalent.
David Moore (X) Apr 19, 2004:
IS this a quotation taken from a book, and if so, which?

The future isn't something you recognize. You create it.

You don't recognize the future, you create it.

Das wären zwei Möglichkeiten lt. u.a. Quellen. Keine Gewähr dafür, ob eine dieser Varianten so etwas wie eine autorisierte Übersetzung ist.
Peer comment(s):

agree David Moore (X) : I'd take your first suggestion; it is far too good to be a CAT. The second looks like a paraphrase by a company CEO.

I'd also prefer the first one. Question is, however, whether the relevant book by Brzozowski has been published in English (that edition would thus contain an official translation).
agree Martina Keskintepe : the first option sounds better
