how would you express '6 Atü Druck' in English?

ATÜ stands for Atmosphären Überdruck, which is obsolute and has been replaced by bar(ü). (1) 1 Atü = 0,981 bar(ü)
1 bar(Ü) = 0 bar(a)
The equivalent is psig - 14813.52 psig is 6 ATÜ, 6.0795 barü, 7 ata, or 7.09275 bar (abs.)
As this the unit I've seen in all documents I've translated so far, I'd use psig. I still have to see my first original EN manual with pressure given in bar....

Atü gibt es nicht mehr, die Verwendung solcher Einheiten ist unzulässig. Daher würde ich diese durch die technisch korrekte Einheit "bar" ohne weitere Kommentare ersetzen.

Das ist sogar in Polen so, wo man vor einiger Zeit die "normkonforme" Datumsschreibweise 20040622 eingeführt hat, nur keiner wusste damit umzugehen. Dort heißt es, "atü" sei "illegal" - das ist die eine Seite. Die andere ist, d. sich kaum einer daran hält
