I am interested in the meaning of and translation of "Muster" in the following contexts:
In German "Gesuch um Zulassung zur ärztlichen Prüfung", there is a list of courses candidate has attended and in margin there are comments as follows: "Praktikantenschein nach Muster 6 der Bestallungordnung", Zeugnisse nach Muster 2 der Best.-Ordn.", Zeugnisse nach Muster 22 zur Approb..Ord.
What does "Muster" mean in these contexts and what would be the U.S. English equivalent?
