Ableitung u. Registrierung der Aktionspotentiale eines Nervenstammes nach dessen natürlicher (auf physiologischem Wege erfolgter) oder elektr. Reizung. Als Messung der Leitungsgeschwindigkeit an motorischen oder sensiblen Nerven diagnostisch genutzt.

electroneurological studies

this is the term I am familiar with and which is used in New Zealand and Australian hospitals and therefore most likely in British hospitals
