German term

Entschleunigung

German to English Other Tourism & Travel hotel/spa
one of four treatments/programmes available at this spa. do the other treatments sound correct, by the way?

Die Säule „Entschleunigung“ steht für alles, was Ausgeglichenheit schenkt wie klassische und fernöstliche Massagen, Körperbäder und –packungen oder Peelings und Bäder

The “Entschleunigung” programme stands for everything that bestows balance such as traditional and far eastern massages, body baths and packs or peels and baths.

deceleration program?

Looks like another marketing idea....
Peer comment(s):

neutral Tamara Ferencak : doesn't deceleration rather refer to economics and the like?

No; we talk much more of economies "slowing down". Don't forget, this is a MARKETING text....

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "that's the term I was looking for. thanks to all other answers. I think this fits the mood of the document best because it sounds a bit technical. Also thanks Hirselina, you're right, it should read body "wraps"!"
