German term

sonstige Rechtsverhaeltnisse

German to English Bus/Financial Law (general)
'miscellaneous' or 'other legal relationship' either sounds really German or is to be found in the Courts of Scottland. My question is, what would be the US American term?

Can someone help please?

No worries. I still had lots of help and I am thanking everyone for their suggestions! :)

I'm sorry but I still can figure out which direction you're translating in. I give up.
Frauke Schroeder (asker) Feb 21, 2008:
Ok, here it is again

'Ausdruck aus dem Handelsregister (Commercial Register) X des Amtsgerichts (District/Local Court) Y' is the actual document.

Subsequently, it follows that ...

b) sonstige Rechtsverhaeltnisse

is the heading of an article in the account of a Register Content, and there are no sentences available.

'Other Legal Relationship' is in fact a term used in Scottish courts. But I doubt it to be the American term.

Here are the German points:

5. Prokura
6. a) Rechtsform, Beginn, Satzung oder Gesellschaftsvertrag
b) sonstige Rechtsverhaeltnisse

Frauke: If you're translating from German to English, please give us the context in original German. And since it looks like these are points in a form asking for information (and not the information given in reply), points 1-4 might help. Thanks.
Frauke Schroeder (asker) Feb 21, 2008:
Ausdruck aus dem Handelsregister X des Amtsgerichts Y

5. Power of attorney
6. a) Legal Form of Organization etc.
b) sonsitge Rechtsverhaeltnisse

That's all I can give I am afraid
can't give you more, it's confidential

No answer before you give us more context!!

It would have been nice to know in what context the German term is used, like the source sentences for instance.

other legal relationships

I do not think that it can be anything else than this. It is a perfectly fine term, both for UK and USA. It probably refers to such combinations as a company that is incorporated in its own right, but is also part of a holding company.
Note from asker:
Oke, that is great! Thanks a lot :) ... I thought it sounded terribly German, but I suppose, sometimes, the actual term really is a simple literal translation
