From what I understand, the table has some holes. The plastic foam is maintained on the table by the suction strenght of the fans. Extracting fan is not adequate because it would mean that there is an air flow from inside toward outside. This is not the case here. The only purpose of the fans is to dreate a partial vacuum to get the succion effect.
