Italian term
Segnalatori assicurative
Non-PRO
Italian to English
Bus/Financial
dell'opera di sub-agenti e produttori e/o segnalatori. (collaborating with the Agent)
Actually, I'm also curious what the correct term would be for produttori. (always dealing with insurance policies)
If anyone has any 'prompt' ideas, I need to deliver ASAP. Thanks

what "produttori" is but I do not know the exact term in English. Produttore is a person (but not an agent or a sub-agent) who works for an insurance agency or an insurance company and actually stipulates insurance policies with the customers but he does not need to have a mandate as agent/sub-agent.
(my husband is an insurance agent). Maybe policy-maker???
As to segnalatori assicurative I does not mean anything to me.
Hope it helps.

Comment: "thanks for your help Barbara. Fortunately, this part of the contract was not specific anyway. The above was simply an example of the many potential collaborators who would not receive direct payment from the HEAD office. I can only assume segnalatori is somone who passes on information or leads for new clients. My curiosity, nonetheless will not wane until I eventually (for future occasions) discover the correct and exact term. I suppose if your husband is an insurance agent and hasn't heard of it, I won't either."
