Good afternoon,
I'm aware that 'fondi chiusi' are 'closed-end funds' but haven't seen it with 'delegati'. Is it basically another way of saying that these are 'managed' funds? Can I omit 'delegati' as it already mentions 'alternative asset management' or do I need the word 'delegated'? It appears in a list of bullet points of items that have affected the company's financial statements.

Not a good idea to 'leave out (delegated) when in doubt' as may give the impression of a principal, 'resident' and perhaps top-tier insourcing fund.
I'm sure this has come up before on ProZ in Italian or another Romance lingo, but can't find the link. Anway, I had already added an 'outsourcing' entry to Garzanti dictionary dull-thud 'translations'.
