Italian term
la testa
Italian to English
Medical
I want to know if there is a better translation than 'head' for testa. Context as follows:
woman is asked if she is taking any medication.
Per la testa ma non ricordo il nome.....prendo delle medicine per la testa sono 3 – 4 medicine diverse non ricordo come si chiamano le devo prendere altrimenti non sto bene.

head
I would leave it as it is. You cannot really know what she is exactly referring to. She could have any kind of problems, her memory, migranes, headaches (has our colleague has suggested), dizzy spells... Maybe "head" doesn't sound really great in English, but the Italian is not refined either...

Comment: "Thanks Adriana (and Susana too). I think as you suggest
I'll leave it as 'head' with a footnote suggsting things it could mean.
