I think Irenef is right in considering 'lego' as a reference to the well-known small plastic bricks. In Italian we usually refer to these building blocks as "il lego". Italian dictionaries classify 'lego' as a "masculine invariable noun"(Dizionario della Lingua Italiana Sabatini-Coletti 2002, CD-ROM). |
