I totally agree with Cinefil san's latest note. I think 埋設 here simply means "concealed" like concealed behind a wall or under a floor. Since conduits to house cables are usually concealed, translating 埋設管 as "conduit" should be sufficient.

buried (embedded) pipe

If it is simply buried in the ground then "buried pipe" is fine. "Embedded" is often used when the pipe is covered by concrete. The other suggestion may work depending on the context.
