Portuguese term
Mecha de cabelo / Fio de cabelo
Portuguese to English
Other
Cosmetics, Beauty
I have these 2 terms in the same paragraph from a Brazilian website. Having a hard time to come up with proper term in American English.
Context:
"Separe as mechas finas e passe a prancha... use o produto xxx nos fios pranchados."
Thank you.
ps: I searched strand, thread, locks, tress, ect but I want to be 100% sure on the distinctive difference between "fio" and "mecha" in English.
