Russian term

polnost'iu deesposobnye grazhdane

Russian to English Law/Patents Law (general) general
Youth and childrens' public associations are granted state registration provided that "polnost'iu deesposobnye grazhdane" have been elected to their governing bodies.
Does this refer to 'the age of majority', i.e. have reached the age at which someone acquires the full legal rights of an adult. Or is it more general, something like 'enjoy the full scope of legal rights', as, for example, some people who have reached the age of majority might not in practice enjoy all rights.

people having full legal capacity

http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Capacity (law)

I trust it's about the age

those, who have reached the legal age, enjoy legal rights and now can take responsibility
Peer comment(s):
