Spanish term
guiño (not in literal sense)
Spanish to English
Art/Literary
I CANNOT translate 'guiño' as 'wink' (so please don't suggest it!) as it would be totally inappropriate here. So i need ideas.
Also can someone confirm that ESAMBLADO should be ENSAMBLADO and COHEXIÓn should be COHESIÓN?
CONTEXT: Review of an electronic music band/albums.

nuances or flavor - explanation follows
\"(which are reminiscent of J.H. Bach\'s Toccata y Fuga?? in D minor but with futuristic nuances)
Otra opcion:
(which evoke J.H. Bach\'s Toccata...yet with a modern/futuristic flavor)
Buena Suerte.

Comment: "Out of all fairness to the 'nod' answer, which led me to the idea of 'gesture'(a gesture to soemthing), but in the end, I did what you suggested because I was limited in my possibilities for restructuring the sentence. Thanks a lo for an intelligent analysis. "

wink, pirouette
you can use wink. Or if you want to be affected, use pirouette

deference?
"paying a futuristic hint of deference to JSB's ..."?
"a futuristic whispered homage to JSB's ..."?
"a futuristic and subtle tribute to..."?

nod
This is more of a gut feeling than anything else, but couldn't it be "a futuristic nod to...." as used in the following examples, in a sense of acknowledgment, maybe?
A nod to tradition
American Museum of Nursing was a long time coming – and collecting
Pitofsky, however, gives a nod to the special circumstances of the high-tech sector, where dominant players rise and fall at warp speed, industry standards evolve rapidly and innovation is dependent on an open market.
Maybe it's my mental association.. " a nod and a wink"... but I think it might fit your context.
Good luck.

guión
I agree with Vitor, your second reply. It is most likely that it was mispelled and because of the ortographic accent and the "tilde" on the letter ñ, it would have been quite easy to mix these two.
And yes, it is ensamblado, however, cohexión and cohesión are both correct.

trait / feature
It means a futuristic "trait" given to the piece, since it was given a new version.
Then: you are right it IS "ensamblado" and I would say the last word is:
"conexión" instead of "cohesión", meaning "CONNECTION" between the futuristic and classical interpretation of the piece/s.
Hope I helped you!
