C.U.I.T.

Spanish to English Bus/Financial
Dear Colleagues:
I am translating a Spanish purchase order from Argentina into English. The C.U.I.T. number appears for the supplier. I know it is some sort of taxpayer I.D. number, but could someone provide me with the full Spanish text of the acronym?

Thanks in advance,

Dsdivers3

CLAVE ÚNICA DE IDENTIFICACIÓN TRIBUTARIA

It's the identification number with which you are registered at the General Tax Office.

Note: If you are translating a purchase order just leave it as CUIT and put the translation between brackets.

No, Ds

It's not and Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, as companies and organizations also have their CUIT.
It's only the Taxpayment Identification Number.
