Spanish term

Descuento Frontera

Spanish to English Marketing Marketing
This term comes from the procurement profile of a large retailer directed at its providers in Mexico and Central America (source is from Mexico).

It appears on a single occasion in a list along with other similar items.

My first instinct is that this is a "Discount taken at register" but I can find no references to support that translation.
