Spanish term

FFSS

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Discharge report
Hospital discharge report (neurology):

FFSS conservado.

The text is somewhat difficult to read, but I am pretty sure it reads "FFSS".

I did not find this acronym on Tremedica, so perhaps it is plural? There was one Proz inquiery a while ago and a possibility was "Fisk Fatigue Severity Score", but I am not sure it fits (examination and tests performed/findings upon admission).

Thank you very much,

Sibylle.

Sibylle Gray (asker) Apr 5, 2013:
The headline as well as the text above it was illegible (and above the illegible word: reference to "ataxia", "amaurosis", "disfagia" and "déficit motor". Underneath it was "lenguaje conservado. No disartria." It is not a coherent text, more like a bulleted list and therefore there is no further (helpful) context. I would, however, still like to thank all the contributors :)

¿Podría ser el plural "a la española" de Functional Scales?

Creo que Liz tiene razón. Me inclino hacia "Funciones Superiores"
Comment In a neurological examination, I would usually assume this to mean "funciones superiores", but then I'd expect conservadas, not conservado.

Can you give it to us in context? What came before it and after it?

Not so confident of this one, but "lenguaje conservado... no disartria" is definitely consistent with my original suggestion.
Peer comment(s):

agree Joseph Tein : well put ... and for the record (if somebody sees this in the future) I have a related acronym in my glossary: FCS = funciones cerebrales superiores.
