I have a Volkswagon "Corrado" I thought corrado was the name of a north african wind. There is a debate about the meaning? What do you think????? :))))))

To settle the debate once and for all,
your reference to the wind is as follows:
"Scirocco" [also, "sirocco") = "a hot, dry, dustladen wind blowing from northern Africa and affecting parts of southern Europe".

This obviously refers to the Volkswagen "Scirocco"...but NOT to the
"Corrado", though they are both slightly related. See the following website:

For the name "Corrado", Volswagen was inspired by the beautiful and fine strokes and lines of the old Italian painter "Giaquinto Corrado" [1703-1765].
