Spanish term

manillo

Spanish to English Other Slang law enforcement
I'm translating the testimony of a witness to a crime. He uses the word manillo, referring to a part of a knife. Manilla means handle. But there's also a reference to a blade. Does anyone know if manillo can mean blade? Thanks!

Thanks for responding! Unfortunately, I don't know where the witness is from. He is in Florida. Also, it's a transcription. I signed a confidentiality agreement, so I probably shouldn't share details, in an abundance of caution! Thanks for the help though!
