I'm translating a travel agency-related document entitled "Acuerdos de Familiaridad", which starts as follows:
Any ideas how to render "Familiaridad"?
Thanks in advance

cooperation agreement
It may have a more recondite name in travel agent jargon, but in general it just sounds like a bog-standard collaboration agreement to me.

A cooperation agreement is quite formal, and states the rights and responsibilities of the individual companies entering into a cooperative relationship. You might want to call the "familiaridad" thingy an "informal cooperation/collaboration agreement" if it turns out to be less binding.

Comment: "Thanks Neil... decided to use informal collaboration, but you put me on the right track"
Discussion
I really think this is a matter of fitting the translation to the scope and effect of the agreement rather than going for a literal translation that doesn't really work
