The next Nottingham powwow will be held on Saturday 18 October from 3 p.m. in the café bar at Shaw's (www.shawsrestaurant.co.uk). We will be celebrating Translator's Day rather belatedly and also one year of Nottingham powwows.
A wide selection of coffees, teas and drinks are available all day, with tapas served between 3 and 6pm. There is also a regular lunch and dinner menu.
Shaw's is easy to find at 20-22 Broad Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AL, next to the Broadway cinema and should be nice and quiet on a Saturday afternoon. See here for a map: http://www.viewnottingham.co.uk/restaurants/shaws-maps-48126.html
The closest places to park are the multi-storey car parks on Fletcher Gate or Stoney Street. If you are coming by tram you can alight at The Lace Market stop.
All welcome (partners, etc). We look forward to seeing you there!
