Welcome Norbert. Jul 8, 2002

If you could, could you post your general location... I want to choose a meeting place that would be central for all of the participants.

Thanks

Welcome Florina, Ruiping, William :) Jul 10, 2002

Well, it seems that everyone is someone flexible and I think that it would be good to start brainstorming... I propose a restaurant, and probably start the meeting at around 2:00 PM so everyone has enough time to commute if it is a long drive... I propose Pizza, Chinesse or Colombian, but I am being biased to my test... so let's hear some ideas... once we get closer and have a more concrete idea I will make reservations for our group and unless I will the PowerBall it will be pay your own way of... See more

It looks like it might be somewhere downtown Jul 12, 2002

From the messages that we have gotten it seems like somewhere downtown with train access would be the best bet, but I'm still waiting for more people to join in... send some messages on your respective language pairs forums, or tell the people you interact with... let's get the word out and get some more people

John, I goofed! Jul 16, 2002

I´m sorry to tell you that I had arrangements to be in Boston that weekend. I had looked at the wrong month of the calendar and thought it was on a Wednesday. Sorry, if it stays the 11 of August I won´t be able to be there.

So, when will it be? Jul 18, 2002

I'm looking forward to coming. Is it set for the 11th, or are we looking into alternate dates?

I think everyone is pretty much confortable with that date Jul 18, 2002

If not, just send me an e-mail. The only thing that is not decided yet is the place, but next week I'm going to post tentative locations so we can pick one. Please send any sugestions before Wednesday of next week.

Actually I do have an excellent alternative Jul 23, 2002

The place is called Las Tablas, and it is an excellent restaurant. I would defenetly love for everyone to have some Colombian food and all my friends that have been there have loved it. I can probably get a meny from there and reservations for us. So let me know if everyone would be interested on tasting some Colombian food. Lets see short descriotion, we love meat, potatoes and plantains, so most of the dishes will have that. Also they have good charbroiled chicken breast, good size port... See more
